Certificate programs enable students to complete a concentrated area of study in addition to their major. Certificates typically require 18-24 credits and are noted on a student's academic transcript. The LCTL Center currently offers Certificate programs in ASL and Arabic.
The ASL Studies Certificate
The LCTL Center offers an 18-credit undergraduate certificate in ASL Studies. Students who are interested in the ASL Studies Certificate can apply for entrance into that certificate program early each spring semester.
The Arabic Language and Linguistics Certificate
The LCTL Center offers a 23-credit undergraduate certificate in Arabic Language and Linguistics. Students who are interested in the Arabic Language and Linguistics Certificate can apply for entrance into that certificate program early each spring semester.
