About Xhosa

Xhosa is a Bantu language spoken by 8 million speakers in southern Africa. It is the official language of South Africa. Xhosa has both tone and clicks as linguistic features, as well as fifteen noun classes. It is written using the Latin alphabet with the letters c, x, and q indicating clicks.
